Qld blue couch

Although improved versions of this grass are now available, it is still highly regarded due to it's longitivity in the industry and it's high quality presentation. Like all blue couches it has moderate wear tolerance but is not as prone to scalping from incorrect mowing heights and thatch development that can be inherent in green couch varieties.Will require more frequent fertilization to maintain that deep blue-green colouring to leaf, more so than the other improved versions of blue couch.

Wintergreen

A hybrid green couch. Emerald green in colour, tough and hard wearing. Exhibits good drought tolerance. Prone to scalping unless correctly maintained. Best suited to schools, sports ovals, acreage's, yards with active dogs,etc. Slightly finer texture than Greenlees park couch and also marginally less aggressive.

Aussie blue

New patented variety of Qld blue couch. Exhibits a slightly paler leaf colour than Qld blue couch. Growth is markedly faster resulting in quick recovery from damage. Appears to be more resistant to dollar spot (a common turf fungus). Best suited to domestic situations with low-moderate wear situations, presentation and high profile areas. Requires less fertilizer to maintain quality lawn. Appears to be able to resist most weed penetration once established.

Palmetto

Palmetto St. Augustine is a selected natural cultivar of stenotaphrum secundatum [ Buffalo Grass) that demonstrates superior shade,cold, frost, heat,, and drought tolerance. This versatile turfgrass is adaptable across Australia from Brisbane to Perth. Palmetto's excellent performance in wide-ranging climate and soil conditions along with its low maintenance requirements makes it an ideal choice for widespread residential and commercial use.

Empire Zoysia

Empire Zoysia is a selected cultivar of Zoysia Japonica, chosen for it's excellent wear resistance, low thatching (less scalping) and extensive root system (drought tolerance), good in shade and relatively fine leaf. All this combines to make this grass a low maintenance, high quality presentation lawn.

Tropika Blue Couch

Improved cultivar of Qld blue couch, very similar grower and characteristics to Aussie blue couch although has a more deep blue-green colouring to leaf, highly sought after in both the domestic and commercial fields.Like Aussie blue also tends to be more shade & drought tolerant than Qld blue couch.

Sweet Smother (Durban Grass)

Having one of the highest ratings in the industry for shade tolerance, Sweet Smother is suitable for those low-light areas, requiring only 2-3 hours of direct sunlight per day or filtered sunlight for a longer period. Nice short leaf, lime green in colour, not suitable for heavy traffic areas.
